“On 30th December 2015, a Short Banded Sailor (Phaedyma columella singa, Nymphalidae, Limenitidinae) was lured by the freshly ripened fruit of Melastoma malabathricum (above, below).

“Its flexible proboscis was employed to extract the sweet juice (below).
